Twan Swagten is CEO and founder of yourclassicalfeed since 2022.

He is also is a Dutch composer. He received his first recognition when his piece ‘Waan’ got performed on the occasion of the gala concert from Fanfare Orchestra Eensgezindheid Maasbracht-Beek conducted by Jos Zegers. He received an invitation for an interview with the local radio broadcaster L1 and there was also an article written about Waan in the Dutch magazine Klankwijzer.

In 2019, Twan won the composition prize of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and won the second prize at Ricciotti’s Arranging Competition.

Twan obtained his Bachelors degree in Musicology in 2023 from Utrecht university, graduating with a thesis on musical riddles in the music of Erik Satie. He currently pursues the Masters programme Applied Musicology at the same institution.
